There is no comparison to the feeling of accomplishment that comes as result of achieving a goal you once thought was once impossible.
My impossible was once getting on stage competing as a bikini competitor however; it was through this process I realised there was allot more to health and fitness than simply being in great shape.
I realised it was important to constantly challenge myself on daily basis. The harder I challenged myself physically the more I began to believe in myself and the stronger I became mentally. I began to form a relationship with myself that I never knew existed.
I stopped comparing myself to other people and started focusing on my own goals. I began eating better and prioritising working out. I started to develop discipline with my lifestyle and the results began to show. I started respecting my body and became happier with myself. I began to love my body and started to love myself.
It was through this experience I realised the impact which fitness can have on lives. Fitness has changed my life and I want to share the steps I took to get there.
The first and most important step in this journey is getting started. If you are reading this there is a good chance that you are ready to start your journey. Make peace with your flaws and your shortcomings, because in the end, they make up who you are. Do your very best, push your limits, but don’t dwell on your defeats. Your adventure is a unique, beautiful experience that can take you as far as your imagination goes.
The second step is understanding the journey is going to be challenging. You must be prepared to face these challenges and keep moving forward in pursuit of your goals. I will do my best to help you face these challenges through regular posts, our Facebook support community and remember I am always only an email away.
The third step is understanding the best place to start. My first ebook “Build Your Base” outlines the program which you will need to follow to get started in your journey.
My main goal is to be able to help you get into a routine, to feel fit, strong and confident about yourself. To create a new energy within yourself to love YOU!
To achieve long term fitness goals and change your body composition you need to first establish a base. Your base is the most important thing in fitness. A strong base means you will be able to get results quicker, prevent injuries and build greater strength. To build a base you only need basic equipment and you can perform the program anywhere at anytime.
Don’t let anyone bring you down or rain on your parade, your life is your own and you can achieve anything you put your heart into.
